Smoked Meat Assistant Manager

The Smoked Meat Assistant Manager is responsible for providing excellent customer service, demonstrate flexibility, and the willingness to change job direction as necessary. Smoked Meat Assistant Managers are responsible for the overall effectiveness of the department.

Job Functions & Duties:

  • Must be Serve Safe certified, as well as pallet jack/high lift certified
  • Must be willing to work in a refrigerated environment
  • Demonstrate ability to order product, as well as organize and rotate product
  • Must know minimal computer skills
  • Responsible for setting prices and building ads for the department
  • Ability to weigh, add, and measure ingredients for all products made
  • Supervise the setting of smoking times for smoked products
  • Ensure that the department is organized, clean, and sanitary

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift and carry 90 lbs
  • Be able to bend, twist, carry weight, walk, push and pull
  • Be on your feet for hours at a time before getting break
  • Be able to wait, possibly hours, before having to eat
