Sampler

Thursday, Friday, & Saturday —

A Sampler ensures that samples are fresh and presented neatly. Attendants are readily available to provide excellent customer service and assist Shady Maple customers in any way necessary. Main duties include sampling produce specials or items of manager’s choice.

Essential Functions 

  • Ability to gather strong understanding of products to effectively promote them
  • Excel at interacting with customers and generating sales
  • Keep samples fresh and organized so that they are presentable and appealing
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and practices, including signing, and pricing.
  • Dispose of all cardboard in the bailer, and all trash in the dumpster. (18 and up)
  • Be able to perform some light cooking duties, when needed
  • Be available to work most Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturday day shifts

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Ability to lift 30 pounds occasionally
  • Active job which requires walking and some bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching
  • Hearing required for auditory communication
  • Ability to stand for the majority of shift
