Clerks/Stockers

Clerks are expected to provide exceptional customer service to all of Shady Maple’s shoppers in accordance to the company’s values, vision, and mission. Clerks are expected to accurately weigh out product, as well as package and correctly label them for customers.

Job Functions & Duties:

  • Communicate well with customers with a cheerful and helpful disposition
  • Prioritize tasks when necessary
  • Complete your work with accuracy, thoroughness, and neatness
  • Have a neat and clean appearance
  • Clerks must be punctual and on time to ensure that the department runs smoothly
  • Adhere to all Shady-Maple rules and regulations as stated in employee hand book
  • Obey all FDA/OSHA rules and regulations
  • Display a willingness to help others and be flexible
  • Responsible for filling case with fresh product, as needed
  • Answer phone calls, as needed
  • Add orders to order book and enter all needed information
  • Smile and be pleasant to customers

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Lift and carry 30 lbs
  • Be able to bend, twist, carry weight, walk, push and pull
  • Be on your feet for hours at a time before getting break
  • Be able to wait, possibly hours, before having to eat
