Checkout supervisors provide excellent customer service, assist in employee training, and oversee daily setup and closing.
Job Function & Duties:
- Set up and preparation: ensure area is stocked and organized, look over schedule, review previous day.
- Greet and assign employees, check dress code, open lanes.
- WIC knowledge: attend mandatory state law meetings, communicate WIC updates, oversee stock count on WIC items.
- Train: train newly-hired supervisors, cashiers, and baggers.
- Supervise: Assist cashiers, oversee break covers, shift changes, log books, and other checkout tasks.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift 30lbs multiple times per shift
- Active job which requires walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching,

- Must be able to stand on feet for the duration of shift
- Be able to move around quickly
