Job Summary:Shady Maple Bakery is expanding, and we are looking to hire more support for our leadership staff. This position would help to support and assist in supervising bakery retail operations including the cake decorating department so they run smoothly and efficiently.
Duties and responsibilities:

Providing exceptional customer service and assistance in a friendly and professional manner

Managing daily staffing, employee training, and evaluation
-
General supervision of employees
-
Managing some food and supplies inventories including purchasing, quality control, and customer service

Writing advertisements
-
Processing production sheets
-
Computer data entry tasks.
Required Skills/Experience:
-
Minimum of 5 years of bakery production experience, as well as understanding of bakery recipes and bakery science.

On-the-job training provided
Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job
- Must be able to lift 50lb
- Job requires walking, bending, kneeling, and standing
- Be able to move around quickly
- Ability to stand on feet for the duration of shift
- Be able to work in outdoor conditions
