Multi-Department Floater

Job Summary: The Part-Time Multi-Department Floater provides support across multiple departments as needed to help maintain efficient daily operations. This role involves assisting with a variety of tasks, including food preparation and cooking for outdoor food events, as well as supporting different teams based on operational needs. Flexibility, reliability, and a willingness to assist where needed are essential.

Duties and responsibilities: 

  • Assist in multiple departments as assigned.

  • Prepare and cook food for outdoor food events and other operations as needed.

  • Support team members with general tasks to maintain smooth daily operations.

  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

  • Provide friendly and helpful service to customers when needed.

  • Adapt to changing priorities and assist with additional duties as assigned.

Required skills and abilities: 

  • Ability to work in a variety of departments and adapt to different tasks.

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed.

  • Dependable, flexible, and willing to assist where needed.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience: 

  • Prior cooking or food preparation experience preferred.

  • Previous customer service or retail experience is helpful but not required.

  • On-the-job training provided.

Physical Requirements:  The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job

  • Must be able to lift 50lb
  • Job requires, walking, bending kneeling, and standing
  • Be able to move around quickly
  • Ability to stand on feet for the duration of shift
  • Be able to work in outdoor conditions
