Job Summary: Provides exceptional customer service and assistance in a friendly, knowledgeable, and professional manner. Main duties include assisting other employees with various needs, and helping customers on the sales floor. Occasionally required to assist with the customer service desk and cashiering.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with other employees and customers to ensure the store is running smoothly.
- Maintain supplies at service areas
- Receiving product in the warehouse and distributing it to the appropriate buyer
- Answering customer’s questions, and aiding customers when purchasing heavy items
- Assist managers with various other tasks.
- Proficiency in cashier and customer service representative roles.
- Support cashiers and customers with daily procedures while adhering to operational standards.
Expected Outcomes:
- Customer service is prompt, friendly, and professional.
- Assigned duties are completed properly and promptly.
- Work with Area Managers to aid the store’s operations
- Act as our store’s representative and set an example to others
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Attention to detail and orderliness to ensure efficiency.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment.
- Capability to learn on-the-job skills within the three-month introductory period.
Education and Experience:
- On-the-job training provided. Retail experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and/or carry 50+lbs frequently
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods.
- Walking, bending, twisting, crouching, kneeling throughout the day
