Job Summary: The Grocery Stocker Lead is to support the grocery & assistant grocery manager in the building of weekly displays, ordering & stocking of certain areas, and providing outstanding customer service in a friendly, knowledgeable, and professional manner. The main duties include ordering, receiving, working in the warehouse, stocking merchandise, filling in other positions as needed, and training on pallet jack, I lift & tow motor equipment.
Duties and responsibilities:
- All employees are expected to uphold our company’s values, vision, and mission daily, ensuring alignment with our core principles and goals.
- Receive & follow directions given by the grocery manager, including:
- Aiding in ordering, pricing, and merchandising of products
- Designing & building endcaps & mass displays
- Assisting customers with questions, problems, special orders, price checks, etc
- Receive & check in vendors as needed
- Pulling front of endcaps & displays
- Lead trainer for motorized pallet jacks, hi-lifts, and tow motors – on-the-job training
- Fill in for the warehouse supervisor in their absence and lunch breaks
- Make & hang signs on displays as built
- Bale cardboard & make cardboard bales as needed
- Dispose of trash in the dumpster
- Ordering & stocking sections of the grocery aisle
- Must be available to work every other Saturday and one evening a week
- Fill in for night shift stockers as needed
- Keep shelves and products dust-free
- Clean up spills on the floor and in the warehouse
Education and Experience: Leadership and Prior stocking and retail experience is required

Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job
- Ability to lift 50lbs multiple times during shift
- Active job which requires walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching
- Able to stand/walk for the duration of the shift
- Must be able to work on a step stool/ladder
- Hearing is required for auditory communication
- Must be able to push carts/pull hand jack skids through the warehouse floor
