Fryers utilize commercial broasters and fryers in the preparation of food items, filling requests for the steam table from the food-ordering machine, and maintaining the broaster/fryer work area.
Job Functions & Duties:
- Fulfill food orders from the steam table attendants in an organized manner
- Prep food and ingredients for frying
- Obey all FDA/OSHA rules and regulations
- Prioritize tasks when necessary
- Keep work area clean
- Adhere to all Shady Maple rules and regulations as stated in employee hand book
- Perform a complete end-of-day cleanup

Physical Requirements:

- Lift and carry 30 lbs
- Be able to bend, twist, carry weight, walk, push and pull
- Be on your feet for hours at a time before getting break
- Be able to wait, possibly hours, before having to eat
