The Salad & Dessert Supervisor is expected to provide exceptional customer service to all of Shady Maple’s shoppers in accordance to the company’s values, vision, and mission. The supervisor ensure dessert and salad bars look clean and attractive and assists the manager in leading the department.
Job Functions & Duties:
- Follow recipes and utilize commercial kitchen equipment in food preparation and storage
- Candidates for full-time cook or prep cook positions must be at least 18 years of age or older as per Department of Labor regulations.
- Monitor staff including work productivity, timeliness, breaks, and work quality
- Communicate well with customers with a cheerful and helpful disposition
- Maintain good attendance
- Have a neat and clean appearance
- Adhere to all Shady Maple rules and regulations as stated in employee hand book
- Obey all FDA/OSHA rules and regulations
- Display a willingness to help others and be flexible
- Answer phone calls and handle tough situations with a calm demeanor
